TS has made the capital investment to provide Over-the-Air (OTA) updates as a service to operators. Operators can use these services based on demand at competitive rates. The technology being used is from a leading vendor and proven across the world with major operators.

As new accounts are brought live either the customer or a store assistant must configure the phone to access operator’s media network for data access, as well as any other operator specific configurations that may apply. Manual configuration is costly and increases the risk of human error and reduces the acceptance of new billable services. With automated OTA provisioning we can dramatically reduce the support costs and increase acceptance of services.

Roaming is a significant cost item for operators. With either periodic or dynamic OTA updates operators can significantly reduce roaming costs while improving quality of service for their clients.
